The reason I created this photo was because of the surrealist work produced by Christopher McKenney, I wanted to create the illusion of a floating figure that was trapped. However what I could have done to make this image much more effective is have the model displaying a terrified emotion and to have a better background, possibly one that seems more haunting.
I created a series of portrait surrealism pictures that used a frame to isolate parts of the model's face. The middle photo isn't as good as it could have been because the background layer of the brick wall was in focus, whereas the model in the top layer is in focus and the brick wall isn't, which means the brick wall inside the frame doesn't match up as well as it could have done. Next time I will experiment with bigger frames, different settings and background and compositions.
